Art

I have always been really into art and all its facets.

I majored in art with an emphasis in painting, drawing, and photography.

I am an elementary art teacher. (Best job ever.)

So, art has been a part of my every day life ever since I can remember.

Most of the art I do is painting and drawing,  I've even sold a few pieces, 

but ever since this little handsome boy was born

my art took a shift back to photography.

As a mom, I treasure every moment with my sweet baby because I know tomorrow he will be a little older, a little wiser, and a little bigger. 

Some mornings I look at him and wonder when he got so big. 

It happened right under my nose without me even know it. 

That's why I am glad I have photography.

I am grateful that I can capture that one precious moment, a moment I will never get back, before it flutters away.

So, now that I have been taking 600 pictures a day of this boy...

(No really, I am not exaggerating.)

I have been getting fairly decent at it. 

And it makes me (and probably my parents) glad to know that my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art was not completely wasted.

I have been doing a lot of shoots lately and decided that I needed a better place to share them, besides our little family blog.
